Herons, Egrets, Bitterns:
Ardeidae

Arceidae are medium to large wading birds found mostly on coastal and inland waterways. The members of this family are mostly associated with wetlands and water, and feed on a variety of live aquatic prey. The most common hunting technique is for the bird to sit or stand motionless on the edge of or in shallow water and wait until prey comes within range.
